Working together with John and Barbara was a very positive experience. I am very thankful for their professionalism, their insight to Roatan, their knowledge of the homes listed in the area and most of all their honesty.
They say first impressions are everything…John and Barbara met us at the Carnival cruise terminal and picked us up right out front, we had been in contact with them prior but never met them, they took us back to Mayoka at the time and fed us an extraordinary lunch, our friends tagged along so 4 of us and they never asked for a dime. They showed us all they could in the short time we had and gave us a Honduran history lesson all at the same time. We learned a lot from that first time…it was a full 2 years later before our dream came true. Now that’s patience!!
We bought a Spanish style home that is available for rental when we are not there; they hooked us up with good people to further the care of our home while we are not there and a rental organization to take care of all our rental bookings, needs. It’s been 6 months and not a disappointment yet in anybody.
They are very good people first and realtors second. I now consider them as friends not just realtors that sold us a house.
I recommend them highly. They make looking for a home fun; they aim to please and won’t push you into something you don’t want.

Barbara and John Morris were amazing! We Love Roatan and we were looking for our dream home away from home. We were not certain that we would purchase any property this trip, but we wanted to see what was out there. They listened to what was important to us and we set out on a two day adventure looking at properties. In the evenings we even enjoyed some food and beverages with these guys. They found us the perfect location and we negotiated a fair acceptable offer. Then Covid hit and we could not make it back to the island for closing. With the government offices shut down and circulation limited, it was a herculean effort to get all of necessary documents released, authorized and approved in order to close the deal. We did this all remotely thanks to their efforts. The best part is now that we have taken ownership we can call them neighbors as they actually moved in next door. Wow! I had a wonderful experience while on my Roatan property-search, and it all came to fruition with the help and support of John and Barbara Morris.
Last year, all I knew for certain is that I wanted property on Roatan. I had a budget but no pinpointed direction as to whether or not I wanted a house, land, or even what part of the island I wanted to be on.
I can imagine that for real estate agents it can be more difficult to prepare visits to different homes and areas when a potential customer is vague or too general with his/her sense of what they want.
I could not have been luckier than to find John and Barbara! They put lists together for me and everything was within my budget! Since I didn’t have a vehicle, they were also gracious enough to pick me up and take me around the island to view anything I wanted to see. Since they’ve lived and shared in the island culture, they also provided a wealth of information about the island life and were able to answer all my questions related to daily island life. They were also gracious enough to do paperwork for me on the island after I had returned to my home. It’s definitely something they did not have to do, but they did it out of kindness to help out when I needed it.
After FOUR months, I finally settled on a beautiful lot in Turtling Bay and I look forward to the day I begin construction on a home.
I’m pretty sure after a few weeks I would have lost interest or hope had it not been for Barbara and John’s demeanor, professionalism, positive attitude, and PATIENCE!!!!
We have developed a very nice relationship that has turned into a friendship based on the trust I have in them. I know they looked out for my best interest and I never felt forced or pressured during the entire process.

We decided to make a move from Mexico to Roatan on a weekend, I found John and Barbara on a google search to look at available properties. I contacted them and within minutes they replied with MLS listings and suggestions for us to see upon a trip to Roatan. We booked and flew out to meet with them and purchased a beautiful home of our dreams within days.
