Life on Roatan carries on…
With the world tipped on its edge, many traditional ways of conducting business may be forever changed.
This is not the first virus and for sure it won’t be the last. While there are no confirmed cases of coronavirus on the island of Roatan as of this writing, we all know that could change at any time.
Life does go on and that includes the buying and selling of homes, businesses and land. We have had clients purchase property sight-unseen from afar in the past and this may be a new trend.
We are always up for trying something new and now we have the opportunity to utilize some new and fun tools.
Whether you are a buyer or seller, the property for sale must literally ‘leap off’ the screen of your computer or device. High-definition images including drone shots have become the norm and here at Roatan Life Real Estate, we are embracing even more technology and using it to its fullest.

Then of course, there is WhatsApp which has taken the world by storm, but most of you already know that.
So there you have it… we have many options to help you explore properties before you even get to Roatan.
History shows us that viruses tend to run their course but it’s too early to predict the outcome of this COVID-19 strain. For me personally, I choose the year-round warm weather of Roatan to wait it out.
So wash your hands for 20 seconds or more… practice social distancing…
And follow your dreams of island living.
After all, just like The Beatles sang… “Ob-la-di, ob-la-da, life goes on, bra.”
